In this case, the samples were already pre-arranged on specially designed transport carts. Manually transferring them into the oven would not only have required additional time, but also resulted in energy losses – particularly with high batch volumes.
Since the same cart is used again in the next processing step, the ideal solution was clear: eliminate the need to unload and reload entirely. This approach would streamline the process and ensure continuous flow without breaking the chain.
The Solution
The m360 team developed a custom “rail oven”, perfectly tailored to the customer’s existing transport carts.
Instead of reloading, the cart is simply pushed into the universal oven via integrated guide rails – fast, safe, and ergonomic.
Crucially, even with the altered airflow caused by the cart, the optimized internal design ensures a homogeneous temperature distribution and meets all expectations for safety, performance, and energy efficiency that Memmert products are known for.
